  • 5.29 ounces (150 grams) grated cheese
  • 3.5 ounces (100 grams) butter
  • 5.29 ounces (150 grams) flour

How to make Cheese Biscuits:

  • Start by mixing the butter with 4.4 ounces (125 grams) of São Jorge cheese and 5.29 ounces (150 grams) of flour. Knead until you get a malleable dough.
  • Then, powder a smooth surface with flour and stretch the dough until it becomes thin.
  • To mould the biscuits, cut small circles from the dough and brush them with beaten egg. Powder the circles with the rest of the grated cheese and place them in the oven at 350ºF (180ºC).
  • It takes about 20 minutes for the biscuits to be ready.

Serve the biscuits while they’re still hot.
