Chicken with Red Wine Recipe

Chicken Red WineThis recipe shows you how to cooking chicken in an original and delicious way.


  • 5.3 ounces (150 grams) scallions
  • 1.5 decilitres olive oil
  • 35 ounces (1 kilo) yam
  • 3.5 ounces (100 grams) mushrooms
  • 14.1 ounces (400 grams) green asparagus
  • One single leek
  • Salt and parsley


  • 35 ounces (1 kilo) free-range chicken
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 carrot, cut into circles
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper in grains
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3.5 decilitres red wine
  • 1 bunch of herbs (1 leek leaf, parsley stem and a bunch of thyme)

Start this Chicken with Red Wine recipe by making the marinade.

Cut the chicken into 8 pieces and season it with salt, chopped onion, white pepper in grains, bay, carrot, chopped garlic and the bunch of herbs.

Pour the red wine and leave this mixture on the side until the next day.

When the time to cook the chicken comes, start by draining it from the marinade where it soaked since the day before, but don’t throw the liquid away.

Cook the chicken slightly in 50 millilitres of olive oil.

Then, add the marinade liquid and cook a little more. Add the scallions and the mushrooms.

On the side, cut the yams and the leek in circles, sauté them in the rest of the olive oil and season them with salt.

Mix all the ingredients and sprinkle them with chopped parsley.
