Chicken Rolls with Nuts

Chicken Rolls NutsHere is an original way of cooking chicken fillets! It’s delicious!


  • Salt and pepper to your taste
  • 4 chicken fillets (each should weight around 3.5 ounces/100 grams)
  • 1.4 ounces (40 grams) butter
  • 4 fresh sausages
  • 2 decilitres cream
  • 1 chalice of Port wine
  • 3.5 ounces (100 grams) nuts (kernels, pinions and currants)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Start by squashing the chicken fillets. Season them with salt and pepper.

Then, make rolls with the chicken fillets and the sausages (the sausages should be inside the fillets). Hold the roll with wooden sticks.

Place a pan on heat with butter and fry the rolls on all sides.

When they seem tender, add the Port wine, the cream, the mustard and the nuts.

Check the salt and stir.

When you serve the rolls, sprinkle them with the sauce where they cooked and use Brussels sprouts as a side dish.
