Crème Brulée

Creme-Brulee-zrThe famous Crème Brûlée is very simple to make and it’s always a great dessert.


  • 2 lemon zests
  • 7 tablespoons sugar
  • 6.5 decilitres milk
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1.5 tablespoons flour
  • Sugar to your taste

How to make Crème Brûlée:

  • Start by boiling the milk with one lemon zest. Then, add the sugar, the flour and the egg yolks.
  • Add the milk as a string, slowly and gradually, and mix it very well with the rest of the ingredients.
  • When all the ingredients are well mixed, place the mixture on heat on a water bath and stir it continuously until it thickens.
  • Then, remove it from heat and keep stirring so that the mixture cools faster.
  • Pour the cream into a serving dish, powder it with sugar and burn the surface with a proper blow torch or brûlée iron.
  • If you like, you can replace the burnt sugar with cinnamon.

If you like, you can also replace normal flour with corn flour.
