Duchess ApplesThis is a great way of cooking your apples! It’s quick, easy and delicious!


  • 4 big apples
  • 12 ounces (350 grams) flour
  • 12 ounces (350 grams) sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 16.5 fl.oz (0.5 litres) milk
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • Margarine to grease the baking pan

How to make Duchess Apples

  • Start by peeling the apples and slicing them into thin circles.
  • Then, put them on a backing pan – already greased – in layers. Powder every layer with sugar.
  • Meanwhile, on the side, mix flour, sugar, yeast, milk and eggs in a bowl.
  • Spread the cream you get over the apples and, on top of everything, spread small amounts of margarine.
  • Put the baking pan in the oven for about 30 minutes.
  • As soon as the apples are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool.
