Lemon Molotov with Raspberry Sauce Recipe

Using only eggs, sugar, lemon and raspberries, you can make this very original and very delicious dessert.

Ingredients for the Molotov:

  • 15 egg whites
  • 50 millilitres lemon liqueur
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Lime juice
  • 15 tablespoons sugar
  • Grated lemon
  • Ingredients for the Raspberry Sauce
  • 1.76 ounces (50 grams) sugar
  • 8.8 ounces (250 grams) raspberries

How to make the Molotov

  • Start by preparing a large mould by greasing it with butter and powdering it with sugar.
    Then, beat the egg whites stiff.
  • Add the sugar in small amounts and mix until you feel the sugar the granulated.
  • Next, add the grated lemon (which should be as thin as possible), the liqueur, the lemon juice and the lime juice and keep mixing.
  • Place the mix the oven, which should be pre-heated at 350º F (180º C), for about 20 minutes.
  • Wait until the Molotov cools and then unmould it.
  • Next, prepare the Raspberry Sauce, which is very easy. Start by placing the raspberries and the sugar on heat. Cook until it boils and the raspberries are almost liquid and completely cooked.
  • Sprinkle the Molotov with the raspberry sauce.
  • If you want, you can decorate the Molotov with lemon circles and mint leaves. This will make it look and smell great.
