Pea Soup

Pea-Soup-zrThis recipe is very easy to make and also a great way of eating peas! Quick and delicious!


  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2.11 ounces (60 grams) butter
  • 12.3 ounces (350 grams) potatoes
  • 1.2 litres hot chicken stock
  • salt
  • 12.3 ounces (350 grams) peas

How to make Pea Soup:

  • Start by heating the butter. Cook the slices of bacon in it.
  • Remove the bacon and put it on the side. Use the same fat to braise the chopped onion and the garlic.
  • Meanwhile cut the potatoes into pieces and add them to the onion and garlic mix. Add the hot chicken stock.
  • Cook for about 15 minutes and then add the peas. Cook for another five minutes.
  • Season the mix with salt and blend all the ingredients very well with a mixer until you get a cream.

When the soup is ready, serve it in soup plates with the slices of bacon on top.
