Seafood au Gratin Recipe

  • 17.6 ounces (500 grams) potatoes
  • 14.1 ounces (400 grams) carrots
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 medium sized onions
  • 1 package of béchamel sauce (500 millilitres)
  • 1/2 a litre olive oil
  • 3.5 ounces (100 grams) grated cheese
  • 17.6 ounces (500 grams) seafood sticks
  • Salt, pepper and oil

How to make Seafood au Gratin:

  • Start by peeling the potatoes and cutting them into strips.
  • Wash the carrots and grate them. Then, peel the onions and the garlic cloves, chop them and sauté them in olive oil.
  • Add the grated carrots and cook a while longer.
  • Then, season the mix with salt and pepper.Next, fry the potatoes, drain them and add them to the mix you made earlier.
  • Cut the seafood sticks into small strips and add them to the mix.
  • Mix everything with béchamel sauce and check if the seasoning is right.
  • When everything is well mixed, pour the result into a Pyrex baking dish, add the grated cheese and put it in the oven at 350ºC (180ºC) to gratin.
