  • 1 bunch of spinach
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 14.1 ounces (400 grams) frozen pastry
  • 5.29 ounces (150 grams) bacon (optional)
  • 5.29 ounces (150 grams) mushrooms and pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 decilitres cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 3.52 ounces (100 grams) grated mozzarella cheese

How to make Spinach Quiche

  • Start by unfreezing the pastry at room temperature. Then, prepare the spinach and cook them in boiling water seasoned with salt for about 2 minutes. When the spinach is cooked, drain it. Make sure they are completely dry.
  • Cut the bacon into pieces and cook them slightly in the butter. Meanwhile, add the chopped garlic and the laminated mushrooms. Season the mix with salt and pepper and cook for about 3 minutes.
  • Now, spread the pastry and linen a pie mould (with 9.8 inches/25 centimetres diameter). Place the spinach at the bottom of the mould. Put the bacon and the mushrooms on top of it. Powder the mix with the grated cheese.
  • Lastly, mix the cream with the beaten eggs and pour the mix on top of the other ingredients in the mould. Place the mix in the oven at 375ºF (190ºC) for about 30 minutes.
