  • 17.6 ounces (500 grams) carrots
  • 4 salmon steaks
  • salt to your taste
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 decilitres cream
  • 0.88 ounces (25 grams) butter
  • 1 decilitre white wine
  • aromatic herbs to decorate

How to make “Sweaty” Salmon Steaks with Carrots

  • Start by seasoning the fish with salt. Make sure you do this some time before you start cooking so that it can aquire more taste. Wash the carrots, peel them and grate them.
  • Mix the grated carrots with butter. Put this mix, along with the chopped garlic, the cream and the wine in the bottom of a pan. Put the fish on top of this mix and cook in low heat for about 25 minutes.
  • When the salmon is cooked, serve it with the sauce where you cooked it. Use slices of toasted bread as a side dish.

To make the dish prettier, serve it with any aromatic herb.
