Veal with Beans and CabbageThis Veal with Beans and Cabbage recipe is somewhat simple and it takes about 13 to 30 minutes to make. You won’t regret spending any time making it because the result is delicious.


  • Salt and pepper to your taste
  • 1 decilitre olive oil
  • 2.2 pounds (1 kilo) veal
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 spicy sausages (chorizo)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 3.3 pounds (1.5 kilo) cooked white beans
  • 1 pointed cabbage

Start by removing all the bones in the meat, then cook it in water seasoned with salt for about 2 hours. When the meat is cooked, cut it into pieces and save the water where it cooked for later.

Then, put the olive oil, the onions, the chopped garlic, the bay leaf and the sausage (cut into circles) in a pan. Cook these ingredients a little and then add the chopped peeled tomatoes and cook everything in low heat.

Next, use the water where you cooked the meat to cover all the ingredients in this pan.

After it starts boiling, add the cabbage (washed and chopped) and cook. Add the beans, check the seasoning and cook for a little while longer (about 5 minutes).

Serve this mix and the meat together.
